From 2 April 2007, a new law banning smoking in enclosed public places in Wales will take effect. The new law will affect most public places such as restaurants, pubs, shops, leisure centres, enclosed workplaces and public transport. Will this affect your business? No-smoking notices will need to be displayed and employers will need to take reasonable steps to ensure that staff, customers and visitors are aware of the new law and that they do not smoke in their premises.
There are steps that can be taken to comply with the new law and we would be happy to advise whether the ban will affect your business premises. More departments >> |
