We have vast experience in:
(i) Representing defendants in court in all aspects of criminal work including police (Crown Prosecution) and local authority prosecution.
(ii) Attending and advising at police stations for adults and young people who have been arrested and detained.
We presently undertake publicly funded criminal work (Legal Aid). However, with the substantial changes due in the funding of criminal work, we will probably in the near future cease to do so.
However, because of “means-testing”, most working people will either be excluded from public funding or will have to make a major financial contribution to their legal costs.
At Youngs we are happy to agree a fixed fee at the start of a transaction or a scale fee to suit the nature and complexity of the matter.
